I love the Law of Attraction and have been aware of it for many years. Sometimes I’ve had really great results and at other times, not so great. What I know about the Law of Attraction is that you focus on something you want to manifest or you visualize having it and you create a powerful and positive vibration while doing this. That can be a problem for me, because I just don’t always feel that powerful and positive vibration while I’m visualizing. And that’s why it hasn’t worked for me during those times.
Now my experience when I WAS able to be in a very powerful and positive vibration (my move to MN for example) was fantastic. I knew I wanted to move, I felt giddy about doing it, I was determined and things were just falling into place. It felt magical! That was the Law of Attraction at its best for me. I was focused on what I wanted, I was excited about it, I was determined and it seemed that the earth moved for me – the housing market actually changed during the time so I could sell my condo.
The reason the other times didn’t work for me? I realized that many of those times, I just didn’t believe what I was visualizing or asking for. In fact, I had beliefs that kept me from getting what I said I wanted. I didn’t have the powerful and positive vibe. And that kept the things I wanted from being attracted to me.
And that’s one of the challenges that some people have with the Law of Attraction is that they are consciously focused on what they want or they visualize what they want but they just aren’t FEELING it vibrationally. In other words, they just think and see what they want, but they may not feel good about it. A vibration, by the way, is a sum of your positive and negative feelings about something. For instance, if you really want a million dollars, you can visualize and ask for it with great intent all day long but your subconscious may believe things like:
- I don’t deserve it
- It’s wrong to want that much money
- Rich people are greedy
- I’ll never be able to do that
The Law of Attraction picks up on the vibration from those subconscious thoughts even if you aren’t consciously aware of them. And those are definitely negative vibes. So if you create a goal to earn a million dollars, it would probably trigger emotions like anxiety, fear, guilt or disbelief. This is also called a stress response. This stress response physiologically reduces your ability to think creatively and outside the box because your brain is focused on survival. And this vibration keeps you from being open to creative ideas and inspiration that leads to creating wealth.
And that’s where Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or Tapping comes in! Tapping is a very easy technique that can get to the bottom of those negative beliefs very quickly so you can bring that vibration to POSITIVE! See this video to find out more about Tapping.
